**Kawaii Mumma**
As a mother of
two I know how hard it can be to balance your identity while being a full time
mum. What I have learnt it that claiming time is an issue is just an excuse.
How many times did we wake up at 6am before school to put on our faces and do
our hair? Whilst juggling exams, homework, 6 hours away from anything exciting every
day and chores..
I cannot speak
for all mothers as I have two children who sleep right through the night and
get along better than best friends. What I can tell you is that we get up at
7am; have breakfast; reading and writing time with my four year old daughter
then play cars with my son before starting my work day. This is at home. (8:30-4)
Trust me I do
not recommend working from home with two children under five..! =O
Never the
less: I take a special time out of my day to either do something cute, buy
something sweet or bake.. This way I am able to ensure I can keep my style and
personality without drowning into a world of mum jeans. I feel it also helps to
keep in touch with your inner child. My children both watch 90’s cartoons with
me and adore them, I don’t think I would have survived personally if I wasn’t
such a child myself.
