Bows over bros

**Bows over Bros**

With no particular collaboration I wish to share with you all some of my favourite “Bow” products. As ladies we all like at some stage to feel feminine, whether it be with a teeny tiny hint of pink or turning yourself into a ball of walking fairy floss..
Nevertheless, a lady like touch is there.
And really accessories wise bows really are the epitome of femininity.

**Modern Breakfast at Tiffany’s**

At least once in their life every girl has dreamed that they were Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn, obviously) the New York socialite in Blake Edwards ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’.
The entire idea of being so socially relaxed and embracing central New York living makes you wish you were dolled up to the nine for no reason munching on a croissant in front of Tiffany’s at 7am.
Trust me it has fluttered through my mind whimsically often as I am watching the movie in my black satin pyjamas and pearls. (I do this often; my husband believes I have lost my mind)
So when you do get the opportunity to grace New York with your presence I have compiled this modern take on the look. (Not that Audrey’s needs any refreshing)

Alternative Easter Gifts

The Easter exchanging of chocolate eggs is a part of a holy and social tradition. However, the exchange of chocolate is not for everyone i.e. as example me who prefers savoury to sweet (and is dieting) or my little cousin for instance who cannot eat chocolate due to a connection to the heart problem he holds.
Therefore, an alternative Easter gift which is NOT A BUNNY is sometimes the better option. Below are 6 alternative gifts which cover from babies to adulthood.

£10.95 Peter Rabbit Comfort Toy from Amazon.com

$12.59 from Thinkgeek.com

$13.00 from Care life changing gifts

£4.95 Night light from Dotcomgiftshop.com

£14.99 Amazing sweets bracelet from schmoobamboo.com

Happy Good Friday

**Welcome to the first Good Friday post **

*****

Before I get settled into the fun stuff I wish to talk to you about something serious that plays o the minds of my fellow bunny mammas and papas.

Bunnies as Easter presents

As a Bunny Mummy I would like to help enforce parents to not buy Bunnies as Easter gifts.

Rabbits are beautiful, soft and cuddly sure, and they do make wonderful pets to the right owners yes.

However, when you buy a bunny as an Easter gift the novelty is generally worn off after a week when the hype of the ‘Easter bunny’ has worn off.

Rabbits are in fact a 10 year commitment they are not a toy.

Sadly statistically speaking, bunnies brought at Easter time due to the neglect they receive after the hype has worn down, don’t live to see their first birthday.

So please if you are not willing to commit ten years to your life to add a beautiful ball of fluff to your family, buy a chocolate bunny or a teddy for Easter.
